Qualified Charitable Distribution

In 2025, individuals 70-1/2 or older can donate up to $108,000 to a qualified charity directly from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA), avoiding taxable income while supporting Haven's mission.  Have your IRA Administrator write a check directly to Haven for this method.  As always, have a conversation with your tax advisor to ensure you qualify and the process is done correctly.  (Read Fidelity Charitable's article on the Secure Act 2.0 Retirement Provisions.)
