Eligibility Clerk (i.e. Front Desk)

The Eligibility Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all patients. This position is responsible for greeting and registering patients, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate financial and insurance records. The Eligibility Clerk ensures all necessary documentation is completed and entered into the electronic medical records system (EMR), while also verifying patient eligibility for funding sources and government programs. The Eligibility Clerk must be knowledgeable about funding requirements, complete eligibility paperwork according to HHSC standards, and ensure timely submission and documentation.  Click here to see the job posting on Indeed and apply.

Patient Navigators

 

Haven Health is accepting applications for Patient Navigators. 

​​

The Patient Navigator is responsible for facilitating and
expediting access to preventative and primary health programs
in which Haven Health Clinics participates (i.e. Medicaid);
Healthy Texas Women (HTW); Family Planning Program (FPPP);
Primary Health Care (PHC); and Breast and Cervical Cancer
Services (BCCS)).  The Patient Navigator should be bilingual
(read, write, speak) in Spanish/English; have the ability to
clearly communicate verbally and in writing; be computer
literate; and have knowledge of the targeted community. The
Patient Navigator must have reliable transportation and proof
of current automobile insurance.
